This is my 9th year at Bonham and my 29th year of teaching.
I am certified in EC-6th grade general education, 7th-12th English Language Arts/Reading/Writing, Early Childhood Music Education, English as a Second Language, Gifted and Talented educational practices, and I am currently working towards becoming a certified Educational Diagnostician.

I received my B.A. in English from Texas A&M, and I received my M.A. in English from Midwestern State University.
I have been teaching for almost 30 years and have taught in grades Pre-K, K, 1st, 7-12, and college English. I have specialized in Early Childhood Education for the past 20 years. In addition, I have presented research papers at academic conferences and have presented developmentally appropriate strategies and techniques at early childhood teacher education conferences. I am currently in graduate school at Lamar University, working towards getting my certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
